DESCRIPTION:
We are currently hiring for a Website Customer Support position. This role includes working with clients directly via email, our online ticketing system, and over the phone to assist with their technical questions.
This is a remote part-time position, averaging 10-15 hours/week, during flexible business hours
Duties:
- Monitor online support ticket system
- Handle Tier 1 support (updating website links/text/images, adding new pages, assisting with user login issues, etc.)
- Assign and monitor Tier 2 tickets to appropriate staff
- Answer incoming tech support phone calls (minimal)
Skills / Experience / Requirements:
- WordPress savvy – minimum 2 years working with WordPress websites including theme customization, plugin configuration, page/post layout
- Experience communicating with clients and translating tasks to designers & developers
- High attention to detail and the ability to provide quality control
- Strong written and oral skills
- Knowledge of user experience, design, and online technologies
- Great organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Strong sense of initiative and adaptability
- Familiarity with the life brokerage agency industry is a major advantage
