RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and create visually appealing designs for websites, web applications, landing pages and other graphical elements, with a focus on layout, user interface elements, and presentation formats (mobile vs. desktop).
• Collaborate with project owners and clients to gather requirements, create mock-ups, and iterate on design concepts.
• Stay current with web and email design techniques, approaches, and best practices to enhance visual appeal, performance, and user experience.
• Integrate user-centered design methodologies and UX deliverables (personas, principles, guidelines, wireframes, etc.) where appropriate, to enhance the overall user experience
• Create branding boards / style guides

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5 years experience designing web properties
• Showcase a strong design portfolio emphasizing expertise in web and digital design, responsive design, and mobile-first approaches
• Possess in-depth knowledge of visual design principles, typography, color theory, layout, and branding, along with experience in creating and implementing design systems and style guides
• Exhibit excellent communication skills, professionalism, and a commitment to quality and accuracy
• Experienced in design tools such as Figma, Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Apply strong time management, priority-setting, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Display eagerness to acquire knowledge and expertise in web design
• Proficient in interface and visual design principles for web-based applications and sites
• Familiar with HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Familiar with major browsers and able to create sites/systems compatible with varying browser capabilities
• Knowledgeable about accessibility best practices
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners
• Capable of self-direction, working efficiently under pressure, and managing multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and big-picture thinking
• Consistently able to produce high-quality work on time
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
