Step 1: #
- Click on “Add site”.
- Then click on “This Site is mine; it will count towards my site allowance.
- You have more sites available.
- Now click on “Copy an existing environment to a new site.”
- Search the environment name and select the date of the last backup you want to copy.
Step 2: #
- Add site name: maximum 40 characters
- Environment name:
- This can’t be changed later
- Only letters and numbers
- 3 to 14 characters
- Environment name:
- Environment type:
Select the environment “Dev” or Development for the new site - Automatic plugin updates by Smart Plugin Manager:
Uncheck this option. This will be managed during or after the launch.
Naming Conventions For Environments – #
Environment names should match the company record. If the company has numerous web sites we should try to host them on the same server and group them together.
